What we
are priced for

Six packages. Whether the job is a house, a restaurant or the glazing package on somebody else's contract, the pricing is broken out the same way — so you can see exactly what each part costs.

A-01

Windows & doors

Thermal-break aluminium systems, cut to the opening as surveyed on site. The bulk of most contracts, and the part a client lives with every day.

  • Sliding, lift-and-slide and tilt-and-turn
  • Casement windows and French doors
  • Entrance doors, screens and fixed lights
  • Insect screens, shutters and roller boxes
  • Ironmongery, locks and closers

A-02

Curtain walling & façades

Full-height glazed envelopes set out from the structural grid. Water-tightness is designed in at the joint, not chased with sealant afterwards.

  • Stick and semi-unitised systems
  • Spider fittings and point-fixed glazing
  • Aluminium composite panel cladding
  • Brackets, anchors and movement joints
  • Water testing before sign-off

A-03

Structural & frameless glazing

Where the frame is meant to disappear. These need setting out to the millimetre and a slab that is flat — we check both before we quote.

  • Minimal-frame sliding systems
  • Frameless corners and glass fins
  • Structural silicone glazing
  • Pivot doors and full-height openings
  • Laminated and heat-soaked glass

A-04

Balustrades, railings & shopfronts

The glass and metalwork that has to be safe as well as clean — handrails and infills to load, not to eye.

  • Glass balustrades, channel or point-fixed
  • Stair, terrace and pool railings
  • Shopfronts and entrance portals
  • Automatic sliding doors
  • Mirrors, partitions and shower enclosures

A-05

Terraces, pergolas & louvres

Outdoor dining, mostly. Screens that open a terrace in spring and close it against the rain — plus everything overhead, where a leak is expensive and a failed pane is dangerous.

  • Sliding and folding terrace screens
  • Aluminium pergolas and canopies
  • Fixed and adjustable louvre screens
  • Skylights, roof lights and lanterns
  • Laminated overhead glazing

A-06

Survey, shop drawings & site management

Not an add-on — it is in every contract. This is what you are actually buying when you appoint a specialist rather than a supplier.

  • Opening survey against the issued drawings
  • Shop drawings for approval
  • System, glass and finish submittals
  • Delivery sequencing with the main contractor
  • Snagging, adjustment and warranties

In every contract

Whatever the package, these come as standard. They are the reason a glazing package does not become the job that holds up opening night.

Measured on site

Every opening surveyed before fabrication. A frame ordered off an old drawing is a frame that comes back.

Our own workshop

Cutting and assembly in house. A damaged unit or a late change is a day's work, not a new import order and six weeks.

Our own fitters

The crew that installs is the crew that answers for the seal, and comes back to adjust once the building has settled.
